most of the people has a misconception between joy and happines, Joy is just an emotion that last just a moment. In the other hand happines is an estate of mind, you have to work for it, obviously if you don't have any reason to feel good it's way harder, but happiness for me has a correlation with emotional intelligence.

Ahh yes such a great question. What’s the point in being smart if you don’t use your smarts to be happy is a conundrum I was just contemplating the other day . I think being happy takes some practice because if you just let “good things “ that happen in life make you happy and the “bad things “ make you sad unless you are one lucky mother you will be sad a lot . Being thankful for the little things in life and letting little things make you happy can have a snow ball effect . Atleast this is what I am currently doing . I mean I am super blessed right now but sometimes I catch myself not appreciating it because I went through a lot of hard times in life it’s like I am so used to being unhappy that I have had to practice being happy and acknowledge that I am one lucky guy to be retired at age 30 with good income , 2 great children , a beautiful wife with great job and am actually stronger in the gym at age 30 currently then when I was 21. Even with all this I catch myself not being grateful a lot so all I am saying it takes practice and if you are used to being sad it may take awhile to transition to where happy is the new norm instead of sad .

-hangout with ONLY the people you like..this way you almost always guaranteed to have a good time.
-never break a promise...don't give yourself a reason to hate yourself.
-never talk about people behind their backs...you dislike someone spit in their face and tell them..way better than talking behind their backs.
-react spontaneously....don't plan things ..an empty mind is a clear mind that can react correctly with enough training...an overthinking mind burns itself out eventually.
