yes matchmaking will rank you guys to skill the best it can (SA has low player pop).
normal matchmaking has same or similar ranking metrics to ranked. the normal matchmaking mmr is just hidden.
there is hider mmr for unranked matches, you will find your correct skillg group when you dont feed and dont overpower enemy just like in new acc when tbd is not aviable yet, i want my mmr low i stay afk in all games and every next enemy will be weaker, or i want 3.5k mmr i do my best and every game you get stonrger enemy. for new acc difirence for next maches(fropm previous match performance) is slightly noticable
Gunja has the right of it, there is MMR is unranked matches but it's invisible. You can still get into Very High Skill if you are a SA player, you just have no way of metering your progress like a ranked player would.

Can someone plz explain the specifics of the Normal, High and Very High level skill groups to me. I am aware that 4k mmr and above is i think very high, and that there are some other variables in reference to ones mmr, but here in SA, we have no ranked matchmaking servers so i just play on pubs. How does the system cater to someone like me. Will it even recognize that some of us SA players are above low/average skill, but due to the fact that most of us have essentially zero MMR it wont match us accordingly?
