in my own opining the current diffusal is bad for him. i still prefer for SnY survivability +16 Strength, +16 Agility, +16 Attack speed and +16 Attack damage with good effects

Nobody buy diffusal anymore except maybe on pl & riki

Sny is preferable for the purpose of sticking to your enemies

The thing with Troll is that you have really bad STR gain... And as such, you are prone to high burst damage taking you down. You can only perma bash 1 hero with Troll. So it is preferred to gain HP from your items. So if you go Diffusal (20 agi) you gain 3 armor, but no HP, you are still very easy to take down. That +16 STR from SnY is 320 HP and once you throw your spell resistance on top of that, that gains you another 3-4 punches or one heavy nuke from a caster. Troll has durability issues... And Diffusal now only gives 20 attack speed which is not that much. Sure the acrtive slow and mana drain are great, but that used to come with +35 agi and not with +20. Diffusal Blade is another item that is a mid tier item now and you don't want to build too many of these as a Slot 1 carry hero (which Troll usually is, or better put, should be). SnY is already a mid game item and fits Troll way better as it is now.

To put it short. It is not bad on Troll, but there are better options. You get a slow from the ranged form nuke and a stun and movement speed from melee form hits. You basically don't need another similar ability.

You need other items. I dont think you go BF every game, but SY is too good to not get and you also need bkb almost every game. Getting diffu before bkb delays your bkb way too much and getting it after bkb is too late generally, might as well buy something else
