well just ask yourself if roamer arc warden is more viable than other possible roamers. As you know, arc warden really wants to get midas cuz this speed up his farms significantly. And getting midas as pos 4 is already hard enough, but arc warden doesnt even have a wave clear. So "on average" he would at least need 20 mins to get the midas (without getting a lot of kills, obviously). So no, roaming arc warden is just not viable cuz there are just better roamers + he needs farm and doesnt have a waveclear to farm camps/lane like kotl does for example.
i think u just stay away from arc warden until someone figures him out in this day and age, he's barely playable.
i like to play aw as a pos4 helping the offlaner.
arcanes, moc/solar crest, glimmer and force and all of that doubled^^
still hard to make him work, strong first 10 minutes (once you get lvl 6 you can kill kinda every hero on the map solo) but later it feels like all you d´can do is to buff/safe your cores and get vision around the map by spamming spark wraith
I like to play medusa as position 5 because her ulti stops illusion/right clickers in a fight
i like to play spectre as a position 4 because he has a slow and if you build urn you can be global with urn..
I like to play PA as a position 4 because he has a slow and can blink in to chase enemies.

Arc is a carry, Position 1 or situationally position 2. Just because theoritically it can be played as annother position Does not make it his position.

picking a as a carry because of one ability... aw on the other hand has super strong supporting abilities (like naga does, do you always play her as a core?) there are more examples: alchemist as pos 4 maxing concotion and having like an sd/mirana lane to make ez kills. or a weaver support (who requires like a drow line-up)
just because you think on paper its bad (without given any circumstances) doesnt mean you cannot make it work. imho opinion everything is viable if the circumstances are given
^ I'd say his wrong point is that arc is pos 2 and situationally pos 1 hero. He really loves the early levels. Also PA's dagger range was nerfed so hard particularly because pro trams started picking her as pos4 to spam the shit out of the enemies from a screen afar.
Do you really thunk Zet is considered carry only because of magnetic field? He can literally give you TWO six-slotted heroes and his farm with double midas is very fast. He also excels at split-pushing and tempest double can easily melt towers and even execute global ganks with a bit of micro.
And honestly, his Q and E are really unreliable and easy to outplay to sacrifice his potential as a core.
His ulti copies himself not a teammate
Arc Warden could care less what his teammates have, he is copying himself
His spells arent even reliable to roam with.
And no arc warden is a pos 1 for the most part, listen to your 5k zet players
As a arc lord, 6k+ 900 game arc, i can tell you arc is either safe or mid, other lanes then that is just garbage
indeed. Arc is pos 2 and after that pos 1. Roaming is just not viable, every other hero could do this job better than arc warden
