go calibrate your solo and make sure to win at least one game afterwards

so.. my rank is crusader 2 with TBD solo mmr and 1032 party mmr. while my friend's rank is crusader 0 and has 1600 party mmr and 1200 solo mmr
is this normal?
can someone explain to me how it works cause fck this mmr algorythm
