its possible but very uncomfortable
because you will need to direct path everything like if you have an obstacle of any kind you will just walk into it and get stuck. like unplayable level of shit.
well if you could just please tell me how? I'd rather create my own paths than hold down another key in the middle of fights when I'm already focusing on other things. (shadow razing for example). My hotkey setup makes this uncomfortable.
You can bind direct pathing to a key modifier like Alt. I've set it that way, so when you need it u right click + Alt and it skip the path finding.
Edit : Sry I didn't read u don't want the hotkey. I think there's a way to always skip it with configuration/autoexec file.
Edit 2 : http://youtu.be/9nj-viPHrHg - Here's a video. They say u can use a console command : "Type this into the console to activate it dota_unit_allow_moveto_direction 1". If it works u can place it in the autoexec file on even in startup parameters maybe
oh you can bind it to alt too? I don't mind that at all. Alt is within a thumb's grasp of my hotkey setup. How do I do it?

Is there any way to bind direct pathing on right-click, so i don't have to press a key AND right click? On the console or something?
