2) Look at the highest winrate heroes
3) Practice them until you are confident
4) Play lots of games
5) Grats, you probably don't deserve it but you reached 6k anyway

I`m not even close to 5k but can help on any lvl of play. Try to be chill and relaxed. Don`t think to much about getting mmr. Think about game. Avoid playing 10 games per day, no chase that you can be in mood for all of them to win even if you did that, and won. But depend on your felling.

^ I play ~10 ranked games per day with try hard mode on. If you truly want to improve as a dota player, not just that little number which represents "mmr", then you better have a growth mindset.

so even at 5k there are still people that pick jungle when the enemy team has a roamer that will just mess up all lanes. my hope in dota just died

I really recommend watching BSJ coaching sessions too, even the ones where he is teaching 2k-3k players. They have helped me a lot on my road to 7k.
Btw keep in mind 6k-7k players are not even close to perfect and make a crap ton of mistakes in game so don't respect their calls too much on your road to 6k. I remember myself making that mistake when I was 5k

Getting 6k shouldn't be hard if you just try your best every game and don't tilt.
