Yes and no. It's sort of like high skill ranked games for pro players without unknown pub players where feeding, destroying items or abandoning is not tolerated, or you get banned. As far as I know, this has been around for a really long time. You need someone in the league to vouch for you so you can play, and if you vouch someone who breaks the rules, you get banned as well. Games are played in 5v5 captain's mode and players who generally play one role may have to switch around and play a different one. The atmosphere is good and games are played seriously, though not as much as Major or Minor tournaments.

maybe pros discovered it as a way to play "pubs" without getting matched with 5k peasents
How are you meant to be able to view the leaderboards? I clink on the link and part of the page is covered up asking you to create a team etc on face it (which I can't be bothered to do) but there's no way to get rid of it see the damn leaderboards! Help!
