Eat Soup With A Fork

He seemed to be one of the most annoying heroes in TI and with magic damage piercing BKB, annoying wards to scout and ruin the life of any offlaner. and slow after slow after slow. Because he did not appear in the recent blog post about the TI meta, What are you guys thoughts?

    Altaire

      Cancer
Hard to lane against, makes you as slow as a snail, dying slowly yet your team won't deny you

Yet I can't win with this snek

      TNL.Jolly_Hotdog

Burst down that snake. ez win.

        kormoranas

When i take riki veno can be cut somewhat easy, but i really seen very good veno spammers, who like jump in solo to whole enemy team, they die, but they take 3-4 with them, if enemy has no heals, the damage output is really insane

          Shou

The only core item is veil, the rest u have to know what to buy when
            Veno is a core
He can go right click, or utility, or even magic dmg if he isn't a POS 1 or 2 core.

            Bungmangler

              Somewhat decent veno player here.

He is annoying as heck but does have his counters. Amazing against kiteable heros like LS, Sven, Ursa. Huge struggles with Jug and slark.
Jug because of his healing ward, slark cause of his regen. very hard to kill those.

he is an amazing offlaner because he can just quickly farm the offlane camps. with smart ward placement (Plague) you will see the supports roaming to come contest, then just head back to lane.

He provides alot of vision and DPS. Its not uncommon do have dealt the highest hero damage for your team . I never played him as core. Mostly as offlaner or support until you chase the offlaner to the jungle, then you farm yours.

I still play him as a magic hero, veil aghs force euls dagger, oct shiva sheep etc. Once those BKB's are down to 5 seconds, doesn' t matter as much.

for Veno, you need to set up your wards to sount all the spots those pesky Earth shakers, so you can see just about everything. I tend to stay on the back line, then blink , ult gale and foce yourself out, afterwards spamming wards. Positioning is very important with veno snake.

              Poffe

great slows and makes it hard for initiators with blink cuz of p-wards

and press R and team clean up all them kills

                meteor hammer

the blink disabling is honestly the most annoying part

hes worse against heroes with regen and forced mobility skills (leap pounce blink roll ball lightning remnant etc). pipe/force are obviously in an extremely good state right now and will make it much harder for him to burst you down, while also providing the regen your body craves

                    Anomaluna

A fun fact to know, most casters and analysts at a relatively high MMR suggest the jungle veno spam to get easy MMR. I've even seen Arteezy do it.

In fact, it's the only hero I'd recommend jungling with in this patch, if you are forced there or have no other choice obviously.

First, you can farm multiple camps with one set of plague wards. You can constantly stack and farm them without even having to move to a 4th camp. Second, he's one of the few heroes that not only doesn't have to worry about enemy rotations but can actually turn back and kill that ganker because the wards are so strong. And most importantly, you can actually use the exact same build and just go to a lane, preferably offlane and push down their towers. Rarely can they deal with the level 4 wards and if you have a Drow on the team, it's a piece of cake. Just rinse and repeat and keep pushing, you'll be taking racks before the enemy cores are even close to coming online.
