with my mouse on near locations and clicks on minimap for longer distances, are there still people that use keyboard to move the cam? feelsweirdman

i generally use camera grip, but when I need to go longer distances I sometimes pan or click the minimap

i broke like 3 mice already by using middle mouse click (does that count as grip?)

What is camera grip? for me its edge pan because I got used to it and its also how you play those strategy games like Age of Empires, Red alert, Star craft, Warcraft, Torchlight, etc......

camera grip doesn't require you to swing the mouse back and forth to the edge of the screen aka edge pan
so it's better because you can have crispy movement but yeah the downside is your middle mouse is gonna break

My mouse3 is stiff as fuck so I'm sticking to edge pan

actually I can set my camera grip into mouse4, I guess I just don't want to get used to it

i use arrows but well i have a laptop and its kind fairly ez to put my hand on the keys part and other hand on arrows part with both my thumbs on the mouse and its 2 buttons lol (dell inspiron 3521model)

Mostly grip, edge pan only when im too lazy to click the mouse 3 button

started playing DOTA in 2003'ish I tried to change and use grip/arrows but i just can't, same with using F1 for hero select
if it wasn't for HoN coming out between DOTA and Dota2 I'd still be using legacy hotkeys... it always reminded me of getting your fingers in place for an awkward opening chord on a guitar eg. jakiro(thd) D-T-Q-R

Gripping might be more efficient but do whatever works for you...you panning and stomping your games...why not.
Miracle uses both and he 9k....yea

I'm a full blown panner. I might give grip a try when I safely farm.
