i am relatively free on weekends and still i cant play more than 5-6 games at most because the cumulative stress just makes me hate dota

On weekday i play after my course from 6-10pm
On weekend i play all day.
Stress dont get me maybe because i rarely lose in 1k???
Games are just relaxing for me
I have more motivation to play when I tilt. So I go on massive lose streaks and stop playing when I can finally play properly and win. How does one ever get mmr like this?

I'll have to amit that sometimes I play more if I tilted - aim to get more win to calm myself down - I end up I having 70+% winrate since I started play Solo rank back

i don't think tilting has such huge difference, i tilt my self quite lot, but if you tilt, then next game all becomes good, tilt ends the very same moment :) so most of the time, because of tilt you only lose that one game, that would have been lost anyway :)
Tbh im taking a break from trying hard playing a bit with my friends as a team for a tour in my country+ randoming first pick for fun not gonna tryhard for 6k atm
You gave me hope @F!RE. We have the same case. I also sold my 4.5K smurf account because I needed to prioritize my studies. I started playing again. I set a goal for myself that I'll reach 4K again with this account. This is my first account by the way, was calibrated at 3.3K way back 2013(?), gave this account to my cousin, retrieved it back after a few months when he created his own account. He dropped this all the way to 2.6K MMR. I set a goal that I'll set foot to 4K again (probably 5K too). Wish me luck!!
im pretty sure that 80% of losses are caused by my attitude and tilting

why queue ranked and not try to win makes no sense to me
ive had games where im mega tilted but its because ive lost like 5 in a row steadily playing worse and worse and am 2 dumb to stop queueing

but the problem is, if i were to play untilted only, i'd have to play like 10 games per week max
10 games per week with 55% wr give u more mmr than 999 games per week with 50% wr

I took 14matchs on grinding 4800-4900 I won it again
Idk, the skill in 5k has really lowered recently.
Games look way more like 4k now since that calib change
