if you have fun playing then it wasn't a waste. With that said ensure you are successful with education, job stuff before gaming.
that moment when I play a game for +1000 hours and then realize that I'm 3k makes me feel bad I get that feeling that I should leave the game because of rl priorities (work, university, family, friends) and then I say i still got time and all of a sudden I realize that I failed on every thing and can not be fixed oh man I wish I never played that game :(

Dude, do whatever you feel like doing. As long you can say you lived a happy life when you should die tomorrow then you know u did the right thing. If u'd have regrets, then u should stop playing dota and do whatever the hell u need to do to be happy.
as long as you don't fail your electronics course in collage (like someone i see in the mirror) you are good :)

Man , ive played this i dont around like 3000+ hours. i did passed college , got a proper work but the thing is im still stack at 4.5k mmr. You just make me realize that i played this game for quite some time but still im at this bracket
I also got 3k hours and I am at 4.5k .
What does it matter? Do people who play Soccer in the spare-time think that too? ;-)
Just have fun, if you happen to get stucked in a low mmr bracket, that's jsut the way it is.
