what they are doing is limiting the amount of smurfs in 4-5k bracket, and thank fucking god for that. I mean if you are good enough you ll just dominate all the way up from 3.5, if you aren't get ready to pay acc sellers and boosters an extra buck since it became that much harder to trick system into thinking that you are better than you actually are.
Nahh 4.5k is a better maximum calibration than fucking 3.5k. 3k trash are just untolerable ,abandoned last game due to fucking toxicness.
You will not improve if your paired with fucking toxic people 3k scrubs that should have already quit.

only people who will calibrate 3.5k+ anyways are those who already are 5k+ mmr
and besides, a 5k++ player will get to 5k+ regardless of where they start
Nahh back in 2013 first time playing dota 2 And got my mmr i had fucking 4.2k so its not fair. Note: i fucking played dota 1 and had great skills.

@mavs I feel you mate, pretty much the same happened to me, I left my laptop unattended in the room for a little while and my dog ate my 7k acc, now can't get back up because if we win I carry and if we lose team sucks.
omg,really VALVE i lost my acc in 2014 and didnt play 2 years,i had 5200 mmr and now i can only calibrate 3500?This does not solve the problem in any way of newaccers

@Mavs I can raise from 3500 to 5000 but it takes a lot of time, and I simply do not have it, I just wanted to calibrate my 4200, roughly and calmly to play
Experimental week only for ' party only allowed to play in unranked' and not the new account max calibration.

I agree. A 5k player will have about 60-70% ranked winrate on 3.5k bracket. Besides, smurfing on VHS is very annoying coz they spam core role like crazy coz you know; better KDA = better MMR calibration.
I even encounter a TBD highest mmr in a 4.1k mmr avg, which is insane (considering I calibrated at around 3.2k) and guess what, first picker invoker. Ofcourse they lose and blame him, LOL
i would suggest playing combos, party mmr is way too easy to raise with combos and solo mmr can be raised with good communication, check out this website for combos and guides https://partymmr.com
Yeah everyone need more mmr. If you really that good, isnt it easy to raise your mmr from 3.5 to 4.5? Its only 40 games?
