To put good wards, to gank when u just bought items, when it's dangerous to farm, to gank mid once, to gank the carry in his jungle etc. just make sure you smoke everyone and make sure u get an objective done after the smoke or it is a shit smoke.

Smoking is a bad idea in general since it makes you die faster
