Every TBD that was not smurfing was significantly worse than the players in their game from my experience in 4k.

Well if you are TBD that means you generally have less experience playing Ranked games. It's like you're a new kid in the school and you get assigned to groups. Although you are pretty good at leadership, of course your other original gangsta groupmates won't let you lead the group, simply because you are new and others have already leads groups in the class before. Why take risks.

It's like that. You are in a group of 5 individuals wherein you are the only one in calibration, and others already have Ranks. You can be better or worse, but your lack of credentials (ie MMR) immediately lowers your status in the team, since it is commonly associated with new players.

That's interesting, in my games TBD players are treated like gods, quite a few times I get comments like " let the smurf play carry please"

90% of tbds/smurfs i encounter are garbage

on ur main or what
most of the smurfs i get are like high 5k/6ks smurfing

big difference between a tbd acc in 4k flat/3k and one in 45-49 where they basically have to be good to get that high

in my 4k games, opponents and allies alike

TBD"s are generally awful, rare exceptions exist but most of them are 3ks/4ks who think they deserve 5k and are trying to game system.

the system tends to put players about in 500 mmr more than they deserve,

because they tryhard in unranked against unranked players who don't care about pressing buttons

so they get put against higher players than themselves and perform like crap

There isn't anything wrong with TBD. More likely than not, they are exactly where they should be in as in they are in your MMR bracket. Have you ever played someone elses 10 placement games? I have. I played on my friends account because he believed it would give him a good rating. Now he is normally somewhere in the 2ks where as I was 4k. Won 9/10 games and was rated 2k in the end. The point is, your initial MMR is not determined by your performance in the 10 placement matches you have to play It is based on your average MMR in normals up to that point.

tbds that are put too high perform bad their first few games and wil then lose a lot of mmr. so then they get put in the right games and they're not so bad.
