Well, just do not get hooked? Maybe even buy a wind lace because Pudge cannot do anything without getting in range.

but null gives u good atack dn and atack speed perfect for dominant lane
well tbh i dont think many heroes can actually beat the good pudge in mid (unless they seriously outfarm him etc), as most support heroes are extra strong in hte early game. its like those kind of heroes, like warlock lich jakiro mid you basically lose the lane automatically
Ask your support to ward his high ground or give you the ward so you can ward the desired spot, from there should be easy, if he come near creeps harras him he has like 1 armor, position yourself behind or near your ranged creep most of time for ez dodge of hooks.
If he smokes early you are pretty much screwed :D

Yeah positioning is key and that's probably why I lost the lane, but like once tinker gets hooked he's like super fucked because you doesn't have enough burst damage to kill that 800 hp at level 2 or something hero.
I mean with ta his armor is low and if you get hooked it'll probably be blocked by refraction and you can fight back, sf you hit hard and have razes, invoker you have forge spirit/alacrity and cold snap. As tinker you don't have as much physical damage and your nukes don't do a lot. Maybe a good tinker can win with good positioning and good usage of harrass.
EDIT: Even storm has remnants to fight back and they deal way more damage than tinkers nukes early game considering he will hit most of the remnants.
