the hero is tanky, but has no mobility

this hero wasn't made for solo offlane

hero should be played as a greedy pos 4 imh2ko, great zoning with his first and third skill. can effectively trade hits with enemy offlaner because of aura. only downside i see is that the carry will have to be uber good in controlling the lane equilibrium, and might need to do pulls by himself if support pitlord focuses on zoning

tidehunter doesn't have any mobility either yet he used to be one of the best solo offs b4 balance talon was introduced
actually him and pitlord are pretty similar in laning i think

He's not a mobile hero, so if an enemy support rotates top he usually just dies if he didn't spot them coming beforehand

tidehunter is tanky and has 2 abilities to reduce your dps making him even more tankier.

atrophy aura also reduces dps

45% lvl 1 damage reduction vs 18% lvl 1 damage reduction

no one is stupid enough to max aura

if u just go to the large camp after a couple waves and rice with firestorm until the supports go roam u can get shit done and not die. hes a monster with nothing but lvls and recovers on farm very rapidly.

I guess you could put him in a 1-2 slot on a fast push team but I wouldn't slot him as anything under 3 because he peaks at lvl 10 and wants a mek so he can deathball.

yes hes not survivable as other heroes but its not like hes pure food with shield + tp scroll and lvl 1 aura, especially if he can hit lvl 3-5 off free xp from large camp and tower when the lane pushes for no reason

if they have weak lanes you can sodomize them also

underlord is by far the strongest offlaner atm

Is he a hard enough hero where I have to practice in unranked if I am to play him ? I haven't tried him yet but usually the simple heros I can take to ranked right away but any semi unique play style hero I have to practice in unranked first ? Triple steals last comment has me intrigued since a good offlaner is easy mmr .

Meh, I think he is better as a support than offlane since there are way better offlaners

The thing is that Underlord doesn't really benefit that much from early exp as opposed to other more popular offlane heroes like Tide does, who can gank right when he gets ravage.
