@efextoide There are basically lot of variable considered when they calibrate your skill I guess. My friend smurfed and stomped from his first game yet, NS. But you just got some avg stats and VHS. This guy @ Mulatschak he gets all his first matches in VHS. I think valve is trying to punish people who are low and just trying to improve by smurfing. Even a 4k smurfs he gets to 4k . But if a 2k smurfs he stays at 2k no matter what happens. Accept this and no one will make a smurf again. Its my analysis , by seeing many threads and comments and my friends account. i don't get why my smurfs start at vhs when my main is 4,8k and urs is 5,2. u are 400 mmr above me and start at normal bracket. i don't get the pattern valve is using..
We exactly got calibrated to the same mmr 4685 rofl but my first ranked game was 3.8k avg mmr lul

So, I calibrated 4685 MMR SOLO on this smurf

First ranked game, with an average of 5200 mmr, lost.
Second game average of 4700 lost.
First ranked game, with an average of 5200 mmr, won.
And the other ones were 4400-4800 average.
It seems they aren't looking for a good KDA or gpm/experencie, they are looking for tower damage and hero dmg (Huskar).
