An AMD radeon HD 7800 series (or Nvidia equivalent) or higher can easily get you ultra settings 1080P 60 fps, and that card only goes for like what? 90 bucks used now? Almost any 100 dollar + card can get you running Dota 2 at max settings now adays, just make sure your CPU isn't too weak. Just get a 150 dollar card, and you'll be good, you'll be able to run the game with alot of FPS, and stream if you ever wanted to get into that.
I don't know your budget, but if you have 130+ dollars, you'll be set.

Processor is more important than gpu afaik

@spunki , no it isnt, you can run dota on all mim without a graphics card, but you can run all max with a shitty cpu.
Nvidia 600 series is a good bet, its is cheaper and old, but the 680, 690 still one of the best cards released.

HD7770 is enough for @ 60 FPS.

For 100, you'll need an R9 270X or 7870GHz. Nvidia GTX760/GTX950/GTX960.

I'd get a gtx 760
