legit on slark, meepo and other agi melees taht need stats
not worth it on str heroes imo

Sven can upgrade it into Hurriacane Pike and use it as a replacement for Blink that works in combat and has 14 sec cooldown (unlike 20 sec Force Staff).

Dragon Lance gives 15 agi and 15 str for 1900 gold. Which is decent, I think. Since Drums are good for nothing now, Dragon Lance can be a replacement.

Value comes not only from later upgrade to Hurricane Pike, another option is to disassemble Lance to make BKB and Yasha instead, for example.

^I saw so many threads about Echo Sabre, but none about Dragon Lance. I think this item deserves more love. =)

So I want to say that this item is really good, to the point that it must be core on all range AGI or STR heroes and situational on melees.

I think the upgrade could replace the dagger on a 8 sloted carry but....

It's a pretty fucking awful idea to buy this just for stats. For another 150g you can get yasha, or sange, which are as good of stats and s&y better than two dragon lanes.

Or if you really just want cheap stats, two bracers is 1050g, 12 str, 6 agi, 6 int, 6 dmg. So more dmg on a strength hero, only 9 less agility, half the price.

Although I suppose if you wanted to be really weird you could buy lance, buy all the other items for s&y minus one elvenskin band and ogre club and disassemble it and just be left to sell off one elvenskin band extra. But that's a lot of work considering s&y buildup is so easy.

TB lance is good if u buy it and later disassemble it for bkb but it was previous patch, idk what to do with those bands of elvenskin
