item changes (silver edge f.e.), decrease of popularity of od/invoker, nerfs to the strongest offlaners that used to shut slark down in the laning stage when he's kinda weak

The new Silver Edge, infused raindrops > ring of Aquila, no more use for drums, and can get echo sabre to lead out of Silver edge (225 dmg, and 50% output reduction) + 6 essence shift + your two attacks dmg + orb slow + leap dmg + dark pact dmg, practically means you cant not get an easy gank, especially from echo sabre passive, on top of that you can just ult and walk away then use shadow blade. Easy for all players to do rlly.

(infused rain drops are bettter for magic resistance as well as mana regen is pretty equal, and you can jungle like a mofo now)

That's for the quick answers guys! In that case, what's the optimal buildup for Slark this patch?

Don't forget that Veil, Cold Snap, Nightmare, Spawn Spiderlings, Malefice, Corrosive Skin are all dispelable now

Yes item changes and nerfs to all his counter heroes. Invoker was a slark destroyer, he got major nerfed.

PT > infused raindrops or sage mask > shadow blade > echo saber > silver edge > BKB/Skull Basher/Eye of skadi > luxury items

It is good on slark when used correctly, im not sure how it isnt. Maybe if you could explain why it isnt (which you cant) then you should. It's passive makes it to where you can easily get multiple attacks before pouncing, when combined with shadow blade the target is shut down without much need for mobility, on top of that you can spam your spells in jungle, you gain much more essence shift in fight, it is really all around amazing.

p.s. you havent played slark but 5 times in the last 4 months...

dont forget super cheap basher too. dunno if its worth upgrading though.

he isnt much better than the last one but at least invokers out of the meta
the aghs lens build is pretty sick

granted both games i've played were 4k games so he might still be garbage

hes less mana starved than before

also the magic damage bonus based on int is cool, with aether lens you deal like almost 15% bonus magic damage on late game

I just started playing the game valentines day but have followed dota and slark closely for years, all it takes is a brain to uderstand macro... What item would you want if not echo sabre because you havent answered that question or any of the other ones i have asked soo?

matrice are u playing in both quals?

so... what do you go on tinker if not bloodstone? I'm usually going aghs but bloodstone is a need due to some mana issues. Also dagon/eth is no longer that viable, probably hex is the only thing left but even then you need some xtra mana, have no idea how to play this hero mid-lategame anymore.

If you're building bloodstone on tinker just for the mana you'd be better off with guardian greaves instead

i cant speak with 100% authority cuz i've played just a couple of games but i havent felt any mana issues

Atos is like the least threatening of all active items you could get on tinker.

For some reason veil winrates is so high for tinker. Permanent magic weakness in teamfight is big maybe?

The best way to win with tinker is OBVIOUSLY to buy a gem and rapier, then kill roshan and get an aegis. At this point you have around 85% chance to win, so why not do it every game, right?!?
