Yes and no. If you give a meepo enough space he can rush a scepter and then do whatever other (most likely dagger) item he wants, and he'll outlevel her fast enough. Put them together at about 25 minute mark and meepo should decimate her

But pretty sure a 6 slotted Spectre will still outperform a meepo on what she does. And he won't be able to churn her out fast on the lategame, so it really boils down to the other picks and how teamfights go.

But sure, one on one she's not the best against meepo.

probably right in 1v1 if meepo played well. spec desolate wont active cuz meepos stick together. dispersion dealt very low dmg cuz poof meeps is magical and meeps have 35% magic ressist.

Meepo is the closest to hard countering spectre you can get. Net counters the dagger movement, being many counters her Desolate, being many counters her Dispersion.

Meepo can eat all hero if he farms well. He's worst enemies during a clash though is

-ES echoslam
-Warlock Fatal Bonds
-Wyvern Winter Curse
-Witch Doctor Cask and Ward

I only play Meepo if those 4 are missing. Other AOE seems fine though painful (e.g Sonic Wave or Epicenter)

There are WAY better counters to spec.

1v1 hes great, but meepo is too easy to beat.

Try sven, he beats OD, he beats spec, he gets huge almost as quick as meepo, maybe faster.

Meepo vs spectre is ok but is better against Anti Mage cos he prevents him from blinking.

If W33 is Meepo, then he counters everything. w33 is one of the better Meepos in the world no doubt, and you have to take into account that Meepo gets a lot of XP. If he has enough space he can generally reach lategame faster than Spectre, though Im not sure who the winner of the lategame battle is.

Meepo is just a good strong mid game hero if done right and no counters so in that sense a lot of stuff counters spec.

In a pub the best way to counter spectre is pressure the safe lane really hard and don't let up. If you take tower early don't forget to keep going into jungle and pressuring t2, don't fall back and let spec farm up.

Other heroes I like vs spec though are slark and necro. Spectre can't 1v1 slark, spec's an aoe hero, has no lockdown for slark, slark is tanky enough to get through dispersion. Necro can help heal team up when spec ults or has radiance and then combined with any burst from team + aghs can take spectre down even through dispersion. Just be sure she's beneath threshold to kill cus dispersion makes it do less dmg. He's going to need to be around 40% with aghs. Most spectre's will not build bkb.
