Get up for a short walk every hour or two, at most. Do stretches, even try yoga if you are up for something new (experienced yoga practitioners can sit for many hours on end without hurting). Lose weight (if you are overweight), get fit etc. All these things help you maintain a healthy posture and will end up strengthening your body. Basically, get up and do something active instead of sitting on your ass all day.
