Legion Commander - Misunderstood And Misplayed?
Despite only qualifying for the Situational tier in our pub tier list, Legion Commander is definitely worth discussing. The pick rate of the hero has been on a steady rise, reaching slightly over 25%, making her the 4th most popular hero in Dota. However, her win rate cannot be called impressive, decreasing rapidly from its highest at 49% in the 2-3k bracket to 45% in the 5k+ bracket. Today, we would like to go over how to utilize the hero better,while addressing some issues players might face.

A Guide On Heroes To Play While Drunk
Lack of coordination, impaired judgment, shortened attention span, narrower field of vision, and a tendency towards regretful decision making are some consequences of alcohol, but they aren’t too far off from resembling a beginner at Dota. New players stalk around the map, aimlessly fumbling their spells. In some ways, the criteria for picking a hero to play while inebriated is sound advice for the newbie Dota player.

Offlane Enchantress - Escaping the jungle?
Patch 6.86 has been out just over a month and the meta is still very much evolving. The Shanghai Major Qualifier displayed various approaches to the new patch and a variety of different picks. Each region showed its own kind of meta and the Americas region had a very special hero in the back of their heads. Enchantress was banned a total of 38 times in the Americas qualifier. In comparison, Enchantress was either picked or banned a total of 23 times in the other three regions together.
What made Enchantress so popular there? The offlane! Even before this patch, a few North-American pro players would play the Jungler in the offlane. Why does it work and what has changed in 6.86 to make her offlane potential even more viable?

Pub Tier List 6.86
A whole month has passed since patch 6.86 has hit the main client. Even though it did have a couple of smaller tweaks along the way, the initial release has substantially changed the game by opening more viable options, without sacrificing its fragile balance. With professionals testing the patch on the big stage in Minsk and Valve unlikely to change gameplay until after the Shanghai Major, it is now safe to make a Tier List of heroes and look at interesting statistics that stand out.

From The Ashes of Winter Wyvern: Supports Of The New Meta
At The International 5, the memory of EG.Universe’s “six million dollar” Echo Slam shines the brightest, but does anyone recall ppd’s Ice Vortex that first gave vision and set up the play? What about the follow up Ice Blast? Core players take the farm and the highlight. This is not to say that supports impact the game more than core players, but the two play a mutually dependent role in a team game. Winter Wyvern was the paragon of the support hero: laning, ganking, team fight. It’s a shame that she has since been nerfed into obscurity, but her fall, along with the changes in patch 6.86, have created a space for new, just as impactful, support heroes to enter the meta.

Ive never cared or asked how to make a smurf. Im fine playng this game as it is. I was just wondering, im assuming you need to make a new steam account and buy the game? Don't understand why people would do that just to make another account....
