I'm trying out Doom myself, and itemization seems pretty situational on him imo.

Itemization is different, a lot of people still build doom in the same way back when he was shit. It still works but not as well.

Also protip, feed as much as you want you will not die almost at all late game, and will probably win the game anyways.

Also Octarine with refresher makes him worse, unkillable entirely and Doom off CD in like 45 seconds.
