My mindset was always "I'm better than my 3.2k mmr" and instead of looking introspectively at my gameplay for mistakes or ways to improve, I would blame my team for my stagnating mmr as I see a lot of ppl do. However tonight I played with a group of friends and somehow got matched vs a 4900 player. The feeling of getting completely outplayed and getting rolled by a 22-0 OD is a humbling experience, that caused me to look back on the game with shame that I was do horribly out of position in fights as a 5 dazzle, and not finding a single enemy ward, as well as a myriad of other mistakes. I feel like I learned some valuable lessons from that.
