you dont get VHS due to some magic tricks or whatever, you get it when you become a BETTER PLAYER. the better you play, the higher your mmr.

shoutout to all the people thinking same way as OP does: stop looking for the ways to cheat the system. You wont get higher rating no matter what you pick and how you play unless you are a decent player. Once you become a decent player, you gonna have good mmr no matter what you play.

Very high skill means nothing and is full of idiots like me. Its a superficial generalisation of the 3,8k-7k mmr bracket and has nothing to do w actual skill.
Btw only way to get VHS is a winrate over 50%. Personal tip: Die less.

I had negative winrate for a long while, although I was more or less always in VHS since i got to second dota.

it has nothing to do with how system works. i was just initially into vhs (cz I played a lot of dota1) and didnt improve for a while - I never even tried, so i maintained smthng like 49.5% winrate with 3.6-4k hidden mmr at that point.

ofc not if u are calibrated at vhs. but OP is not calibrated there and wont be and asks how to get vhs. only way to get to vhs from his point is to win more than he loses or stack w VHS players, whose mmr is high enough to raise the average mmr to 3,8k. that is the system.

mb OP should just buy a fuckin vhs acc. i bet a 4k acc costs about 1$ and then he can be done w that part of his life and not waste more precious time on it.

yes, he needs to win more. but the reasoning is following
play good -> win more -> get higher mmr=higher bracket
instead of focusig on secondary problem (not winning enough), why not to pay attention to what caused it? and that's what I alrdy said above.

Most of my games are 'Very High Skill,' but when I play with party, my games went to Normal Skill. I don't even know how this thing work.

hidden party mmr is separated from hidden solo mmr. either your party mmr is lower than solo, or your friends have low party mmr. or both, who knows.

When you party, the hidden/ranked mmr of the other members will affect the skill bracket of the game.
Let's say you are 4000 mmr. then you party with a 2000 mmr. the average mmr is 3000 mmr. so the system will see it as a Normal bracket game.

I think the other guys are correct, maintain a high k/d/a ratio. I am 6.84 k/d/a myself.

If you really want to be in a Very High Skill bracket. The first thing to do is to get very high stats at your very first game when you created your account. :)
