hero MMR, wont be actually an MMR, because you only pick you heroes after the matches are made :-) though, I think its more like a hero skill rating. I know that's a person's MMR is based on how they play certain heroes (like the Zeus hero damage has less of an effect I think), though the individual ratings will be interesting for people to progress in an area. Though trying to rate a players hero according to stats can be tricky when part of the players good plays may be from sacrificing farm, agro from the cores, etc.
Dotabuff's hero rating system is weird. I was top 40-ish oracle player but then I decided to play 1 match with my friends(normal skill) and won. I got deleted from top 100 immediately and never got back lol.

When it's finally released, how close do you think it will be to the dotabuff hero score system? It'd be nice if it was relevant to solo mmr, e.g. I'm a 3k Lion but a 2.2k Antimage sort of thing.
