Blink's a good idea if you get it in a decent time. Armlet is what people used to get on him for a long time, still viable.

Maelstrom is a good idea for accelerating farm

threads > (soulring?)> blademail/sangeyasha/armlet/radiance>blink>basher>superbasher>ac

or switch items depending on what u lack/need acording to ur team/enemy picks

I play him as a support from time to time and what i build is: Mana boots or pt, soul ring, stick and blink. For the last item i started to favor aghs since its too damn good.

Edit: Then i eventually start building ac/armlet/deso. Some damage item when i feel the time is right.

I would go Treads, Wand, Armlet, BKB, Blink. Those items are IMO, core items for WK. Then you can go AC/MKB/Basher/Deso depending on their team comp.

pt for boots, drums/blademail situational.
i get dagger when we want to destroy the enemy asap and have other stuns/nukes.
i like armlet, i also always get wand in lane.
midas depending on enemy lineup, radiance if i can get it within 25 min, bkb when really needed (against mana drains mostly), ac is good, basher too, you can even go shadow blade.
maelstrom/mjolnir against illusions.

there are like 2 ways to play wk, the hard carry = farm with midas/radiance and uninstall heroes in 30+ min games.
and the semicarry/stomper that goes fast blink and shits on everyone and ends the game pre 30+.

which way i play it depends on enemy lineup and how hard was my lane.

The most common build is ( Treads, drums, soulring(?), blademail, dagger, basher into abyssal, AC) then getting what's valuable in game

He can actually go a variety of items depending on the game.

It is entirely possible to skip blink if you go racecar (drums sny). There's the hailrake way of playing him, the traditional blink into bkb + random dmg items. Etc.

you need armor

if u face snowballing BS, early blademail might be a good purchase on WK

I think hailrake's build is the best -> PT-Drums-Blademail-Radiance-Mjollnir-Refresher.
