Cold Embrace Doesn't Count As Hero Healing? in General Discussion

WHY. I DEMAND ANSWERS!
Annd Bananas... oh look a banana.
BUT STILL! Why does cold embrace not count as hero healing, she's been out for months.

Winter Wyvern herself is giving an ally a buff that gives them HP regen. Therefore she isn't technically healing them.

She gives regeneration buff, not hero heal.

Hmmm, I just checked to see if Huskars heal counted and it doesn't either apparently. But that seems like a strange decision to make considering the end result is the same. You've used SOMETHING and now they are healed. Why wouldn't that count as hero healing?

It used to count. My highest healing game was like 12k on ww and no way that was from Mek.

Alright I've been thinking about this and I've come to the conclusion that DOTAbuffs stats pertaining to healing and regen are lacklustre. You know I've paid for my dota buff plus and as a primarily Support and Offlane Player I'd really like to know how much impact my Tranquil boots had or how much heals I was able to throw out as WW.

I understand that there is a fundamental problem in the way these things are calculated and I'd like to see it split up into 3 stats at least for dota buff plus members
1. Direct healing (Dazzle shadow weave or Mek Active..ect)
2. Allied Indirect Healing (say you are in proximity of a hero with your mek and they gain the bonus regen, I guess Cold embrace and Huskar's heal belong here)
3. Self indirect Healing (Excluding Base Regen of course, The example I would use is tranquil boots, how much hp did I regen without the assistance of the Fountain or other heroes) I'd go as far as saying it would be nice to know how much each item did independently if at all possible

This would help players like me determine the best times to buy items such as tranquil boots and identify situations where another option would be more beneficial.

While were on the subject I'd also like to see a Mana Restored stat. both direct (Arcane boots, greaves, KOTL's spell the name escapes me, OD's Passive..ect) and Indirect like CM's aura which is the only thing that does that I think but the game is opening up there could be more things that buff mana regen for allies in the future both items and spells.

Anyways I'll think about this more and maybe make a more refined post.

It'd probably result in very weird data if all healing sources counted. Juggernaut would probably be among the biggest healers, if not the best.

That would make sense though, His healing ward has a lot of impact it would be great to see data for just how much work those wards do.

I agree 100% change it
