last time i actually tried to get A's was first semester but the grade is based on how many points out of 100 do you have by the end of semester
i had like close to full points in all but one subject but most subjects have like 25-35 points during the semesters and then ~65 from final exam - funnily enough, some projects which can take like a week (or two, three..) can give you like 10 max points which can be the same amount that you get from one simple question on final exam
this means that the ratio of points/time+effort is terribly low during the year and during exams it becomes the exact opposite
so if you tryhard for entire time and then screw up some things in finals then you can get like 2 or 3 grades lower because of it
(which is what happened to me in math and was rather demotivating)
looks like i'm still not going home for holidays because its still super risky especially since i can be drafted in army because the govt doesnt care that i study abroad anymore
