keep in mind theres not a shitton of content like ftl. I beat my first 2 runs (the games easier before you unlock all the cards because you can build more consistent combos) and saw most of the game content in ~3 hours
the joy is in playing for 50 minutes and then fighting a boss that only lets you play 6 cards a turn and slams your for 1/3 of ur hp every turn until you die
