play it mid, he like never loses mid
just take heal and stats, if u takin all creeps get a midas and farm aghs.
u need at least 1 value point in bonds its what makes him a strong laner actually
not a warlock player myself, but it's what i've seen from good warlock players.
high attack damage and a low manacost heal and pretty high hp with stats.
and playing it to your advantage
Warlock is all about winning defensive teamfights and turning it into a fast push I think. Upheaval is a good spell but really doesn't do much until later in the game, since it disables your ability to autoattack people, cutting your damage by a significant amount. Shadow Word seems like the most useful skill to max first, but getting level 3 bonds makes your level 6 rock so much more powerful.
Rushing Aghs is powerful enough, but if you feel like its going slowly consider Drum of Endurance, those golems need all the movement speed they can get.
^ Easy to gank, but not that easy to kill actually, you need some very strong burst/damage amplification or you'll see Warlock getting away with his maxed heal always in the verge of death, but surviving with a sliver of hp. Then your idiot teammate dies to tower and Warlock goes back to farming.
But yes, value point in Bonds is very good for harrasing without drawing aggro from creeps, you'll push a bit though.
He has great laning, take advantage of it by being a farmer. His ulti has huge CD, so your other heroes need to be able to constantly fight for you to not get shit on while your ulti is on CD. Also if you end up going mid, remember that using Shadow Word on yourself is better because damage gets reduced while heal doesn't.
You start with null and skill at least one point in stat. You don't really need bottle because you don't spam waves and you already have self sustain. I like basi because it gives damage and armor also mana regen is nice when you don't have bottle. After that you mostly want phase boots for better laning and you may or may not get a midas. Even if you want a midas though, don't rush it like a goddamn fool. It's totally fine if you get it after your boots, even after your phase. After that you mostly want your generic aghs refresher etc
What's the point of warlock mid though? You probably won't kill any competent mid, just harass them out of lane. Then what? He can't take a tower solo without dropping golem. Do you burn golem to get the t1 down? I guess you could gank with golem too.
You get farm. It's risky to run him as a 1 carry because you don't want your carry to be dependant on such a huge CD. And you can get kills, I see a lot of people underestimate the golem damage even here at 6k.
Goddamnit, time to go mid. All my games are either fucked by shit picks/no carries or shit mid who feeds. I've never seen such nonsense, usually when I first pick a support people go nuts celebrating and we get good carries. When I first pick warlock I get stuck with morons last picking techies and alchemist.
well it really shouldn't be that difficult to win as warlock support. He is awesome at zoning out most offlaners cus you just combo them with level 1 bonds and level 2 word and it forces out all their consumables and they must leave lane to heal. I've been securing our carries easy free farm. But if mid loses badly he is super easy to gank, having no disable, only able to heal some, not doing great bonds dmg if away from wave early. Once we get to teamfighting the enemy carries are just too farmed and waste my golem. Idk, it should be easy, just need a mid to play evenly and a carry who can farm right when I hand him the fucking lane.
look warlock has like 90000 hp, 8500000 damage and a heal that heals an approximate amount of 55000 hp.
if you die it's because you were inside the t1 tower (i mean INSIDE).
I found the secret to winning, just play a team of all anonymous. Having none on your team helps too I guess.

Help! He's like a 55% win rate hero, he's on my 10 hero challenge and I've lost three in a row. Am I leveling the wrong shit? I always max his dot and chains over his slow. He's quite a strong team fighter but other team keeps building diffusals and one shotting golem or our team has no disables and they all run away from golem. I think I'm doing a good job zoning out the enemy offlaners when I go safe lane support but the other lanes still lose and he's kind of a shit ganker and at rotations other than the t1 dives where you can get golem off.

Our team basically had no hard carry vs a jug, qop and bs. We had to snowball huge to win this and we didn't mid was about even and then blood and jug wrecked us.

Idk what happened here, blood didn't rush bkb quick enough and zeus plus ember won every important team fight with 2 buttons late. Silencer kind of fucked my ult since they'd go silence, zeus ult, ember cleave and I'd be dead.
