Is it when you have a team full of manly men characters? Like Sven, Axe, Kunkka, Beastmaster, and Omniknight?
It's mixed. If you play really Aggro into a Undying early on, tower dive, etc. You're pretty damn fucking stupid unless there are exempting circumstances like a mid QoP gank which means you have someone who can dive without eating too much tower aggro.
But if you're laning against a Drow, maning up a bit is really nice. One of the most frustrating Void's I've ever played with point blank refused to get a Four Man Chrono when they were pushing mid and instead went and ganked the solo Pudge top who was passive farming. Balls to the walls is good unless the wall is made of spikes. Apply balls to non-spiked walls and win.
Well, my name is Relentless. I almost always think my team is too cowardly, unless they are Russians. Russians are almost never cowards.
If I want to stop a gank, and don't really have the power I often feed my support hero in an aggressive attack to distract and make room for the gank target to escape. This works very well if you are not against a very high mobility ganking team. Once they get one kill they go back.
If your team is playing very aggressively and it's not your style, then split push - this will take advantage of their aggression without forcing you into uncomfortable situations. If they all feed, at least you get a tower and farm while they do it.
high risk high reward. I noticed it with my lower MMR friends they tend to play sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo passive and miss tons of good chances to turn the tides of a match in our favor. You will see Enigmas waiting all game for that ONE 5man black hole but by that time the other team is so rich that you cant kill them in it.

Is this normally a good or bad thing? Thoughts?
Let me clarify.
They are too aggressive, pro-active and wants to always want to instigate the actions first.
