Apparently wave wishes to join you in demonstrating your abysmal reading comprehension and paucity of tack.
But if you were confused it is possible others were as well so I will apologize (in the true meaning of the word) and clarify the issue.
For those of you newer to Dota 2 matchmaking there are 5 different MMR values. There is Solo Ranked MMR. There is Party Ranked MMR. There is Solo unranked MMR, and there is party unranked MMR. Finally there is Team MMR. In this case the relevant scores are solo and party ranked MMRs. The confusion comes in because an actual ranked game will use both the solo MMR score of people in solo que and the party MMR score of people in parties and assemble them together into teams of 5. Because Valve continues to put solo que and party que people on the same team and opposed to each other solo and party MMR scores do communicate and change each other. So in this sense the pools of solo and party ranked MMRs are not separate, even though the scores will be counted and displayed separately for each player. Hopefully this clears up the confusion for anyone intending to understand... I will not be surprised if trolls remain intransigent in their ignorance.
You're autistic. Now read your posts back and what you've said.
Kazakhs have a saying: "If you fell off the horse then there's no point to grab its tail"
Relentless, if you attempt to queue a ranked match in a party with >2k MMR difference between the highest and lowest player, you get an error message preventing you from queuing. This is independent of the algorithms that match people together after they have started queueing.
Oh man, it's going even worse. Literally one of the worst cringe posts. It's like 3 year-olds in the kindergarten: "who says on the other says it on himself"
Oh you even deleted your comment. Nice try.
And yet again. Pulling facts out of your ass. "I believe" isn't a fact.
Stupid autistic shit tries to disagree with me and denies all the facts. Then when zenoth says something you instantly take your position back. Delusional kiddo at its best. If zenoth will ask you to suck his dick you probably would in a sense.
Trial and error as well as external anecdotes. I'm 5.4k party currently and have plenty of friends' friends in the 3k-4k range that get suggested to fill the stack. If they're 1.9k below me we can queue, but thus far anything above 2k and we receive an error message.
"Parties with members whose MMRs are 2000 or more apart are unable to queue for ranked matches. "
Unfortunately that does not definitively answer the questions and no changelog is referenced.

Zenoth, how do you know it is fixed at that value? I believe I have been in parties with larger than 2k MMR range recently.

Do you know when Valve implemented the new rules? Maybe they spelled out how they apply and to which types of games?
pretty sure the 2k limit is actually in a changelog somewhere
did anyone screencap relentless post before he edited it to something completely different?
"I BELIEVE I HAVE BEEN IN PARTIES WITH LARGER THAN 2K MMR RANGE"
do you see flying pigs in the sky and 6k mmr printed on your dota 2 profile as well?
That's what we want to find. The changelog may spell out exactly what is allowed and what is not.
According to the wiki
http://dota2.gamepedia.com/Matchmaking
"Parties with members whose MMRs are 2000 or more apart are unable to queue for ranked matches. "

There's no new wheel to invent you retarded autist.
I'm wondering how you're still alive if you're like that in real life.

Great! Thanks Zano. So it appears that this applies only to party que for ranked games and not to matching itself.
^ Just made that up.
I can vouch I am the only pablo on the American leaderboards
:)
Oh and I also once or twice had a 3k on my team before
when i was 4.7k i could dual q with my low 2k friend just fine, never tried a five stack though
edit: only in unranked though
