the only prob is that wisp will lose to many other mids, and lots of mids like storm or qop will just start getting fed from him by lvl 6 or 7.
well with heroes like ynit said he can get burst down instant with a couple of spells
but w/e seems legit in other ways
i used to run wisp solo mid in scrims with some of my former teams
its actually pretty legit and wisp kinda beats alot of heroes in mid considering he has instant "cast" projectile and no turnrate but u need to play kinda greedy with him
wisp dsnt beat storm LAMAO with that 0 armor storm will wreck him hard. and storm will just outlast hit io rlly hard as io dmg is shit.
bash? hear me out?
WISP MID IS AN OLD IDEA, just play him like he was played around the time he came out or if you don't remember that, then play it how dendi played him in the ti3 finals, based on how he was played when he came out.
edit: btw i was a good wisp mid back in dota... he just doesn't feel the same here in dota 2 and i got like 0% win :D!!
lel, io needs stun. what kind of support with no stun(( nerf something but pls giff stun.
He was def godly in the old days
-Stunning tether
-Bringing creeps back and forth (free wards on cliffs, disable backdoor protection)
-Overcharge draining slower
-Spirits giving flying vision

Before anyone bashes this, just hear me out. So basically I saw the wisp that went against EE and while I thought it was cool, I really wanted Wisp to be laning instead.
Say you have him go mid. He actually has a very strong harassing spell he can use from a safe distance and supports ganking mid will love the tether + the slowed enemy mid.
He has somewhat low base damage of 47 but no turn rate and decent animation make up for it. He also has a not bad escape mechanism in the sense that if enemies ever try to gank you while your creep wave is near, you can tether away. You can tether to supports who are coming to save you and you can tether away back to lane if enemy support/mid chases you from the rune spot. The max range of Orb also means you can stack the big/medium camps from mid whenever the lane is pushed out or if you're getting runes for faster farming. At later levels, he's deceptively tanky if you overcharge toggle to reduce damage.
At level 7 you basically can pop anywhere globally and do 1000 magical damage with your orbs.
As ridiculous as it sounds, he actually sounds decent in mid IN THEORY. Its a snowbally reliant type of mid but you never really 'fall off' because you can buff up your other cores.
