General DiscussionPlanning to switch to new hotkeys

I use x/c/v/b/t/space bar for my item hotkeys and qwerdf for my spell hotkeys. My numbers and function keys bar is reserved for microing. I find myself comfortable with this layout and maybe you will too.

The only problem I had with this was that I used to say "B" a lot (for back) and I would sometimes place my TP there. (I don't do that anymore do and I don't misclick my hotkeys anymore). Hopefully this helps.

(and I also don't have 4 button mouses, I have a normal mouse)

i dont think it will help you much but just in case ill tell you what i use.

Legacy, works for everyone exccept invoker because i use S,Q,3 as the 3 top slots for items, Space,kp_5,kp_6 for the bottom slots,
1 for courier
2 for shop
3 for (inventory slot, look further up)
4 for mic
5 for fastbuy
6 for locked tp buy
7 for staching items

Y for missing
U for get back
I for well played (spam this a whole lot :D)
O for chat wheel (just recently, had it for push before)
Å for we need wards
P for care (i think, dont use it much)
^¨ for push

i use ctr+skill to skill it when i have skill points

well it works so mby you can have smth similar if you like legacy. problem is when i turn off legacy to play invoker i have to reset my Q and stuff like that, or when playing thd, spectre that use some of my hotkeys i have to rest them too, Q hotkey is gone for jakiro while I, wp key is gone for spectre (dIspersion).

can I just ask the people that use kp_(number) etc. for hotkeys, does that ,mean you are moving your whole hand across the keyboard every time you want to use that hotkey?

yes xD but i just dont have any other keys available and im not fan of double key :'(
some times i even click it instead whatever is faster, usually those slots are the last ones, 5th, 6th like in mycase so you're not gonna use it all the time, or early in the fight so its more like a plus factor, mby i have phase, guinso euls and force staff and need to use my fucking wand then i stretch my arm to get it...

these are the keys that work for me, idk if u use legacy or not. when im invoker i swap q and w with g and c, sometimes i gotta change keys for certain heroes but its usually just changing w to g

Arrow Keys (Top, Right, Bot) - missing calls Top lane, Mid Lane, Bot Lane

Yeah i'm pretty comfortable with mine. I only really need my index finger to activate my items (and thumb for space bar which I reserve for items like blink). Hope you found it comfortable
