    Zahard

grimorum is like 5.1k mmr, and his invoker is only diamond 8 lol...

        Hatsune Miku

my main is mostly on gold 7-9 but theres one with platinum 1... i dont think it depends on mmr

          woof

All of my heroes that I've played in the last few weeks are diamond 10, even if they have shit winrate or kda.

            Dev

6.6k mmr and diamond 8/10 here. So I think diamond 10/10 is around 7.5k+.

i dont think it has anything to do with ur own mmr, total of mmrs in da game = division

It is not related to Ranked mmr as much as it is for the Hidden "unranked mmr".
I was 23th razor with 10/10 having played most games not ranked.
However most of those games the majority of people were 6.5k+mmr or hidden mmr around 70-90% winrate.

Another thing that could be noted however is that most people say that this system is flawed in the sence that Winrate works to harshly but now im about 50th razor and i have dropped perhaps 10% winrate but i still have about the same "points".
This means that the system does infact have good quility of mesure seeing people Raise to a certain lvl and then being able to still gain rank while not squing towards impossbile winrates while having many games played.

There are still downsides to the system but keep in mind its hard to make this perfect and while the Skill of rank in noway represents the skill of a hero or a person playing dota the same could be said for MMR.

They are still working on this so lets try to be constructive and give our opinions as they do matter and they do care trust me.

the data for ratings is not in the API afaik

my best guess is that they use an average of game stats for both teams compared to the average stats for winning and losing teams for those specific heroes to approximate the bracket, although it could be something more complicated than that

i had a friend who went from diamond 10 --> diamond 9 just from playing 1 game in dubai

                      Gluttony

when this came out i was 24 QOP and now im the 50th even tho ive only played 1 game with qop since the day ranked came out and won it pretty hard...but every now and then some dude appears with lets say 80 games and 95% winrate...i open his profile and find out that he has been playing unranked random draft/ap....who doesnt get 90% winrate on those...and he keeps spamming dagon with a KDA of 7-8 which is total bullshit, did i forgot to mention the dual battlefury build on qop?? next lvl.
The ranking heroes MUST be restricted to ranked matchmaking at the very least....no matter how good u perform in unranked or how good ur oponents r theres to much flaws in the unranked ppl aint to serious.

how many games does one have to play to get a division rating and where can I see it?

                          outerspaceboys

30 games, click on heros and click player rating.

@valv plz - nothing to do with mmr, i have a friend aroung 5.5k mmr and he is diamond 10...

                              Concealed

4k mmr diamond 1-3 on most heroes, also have platinum 8-10

We just released an updated hero and facet statistics page featuring more data and advanced filters. Oh, and it supports Turbo!
