General Discussion@ Dotabuff staff: Do you sell access to dotabuff premium on steam?

No but I would love to. Typically Steam only sells things they provide access to though - so I'm not sure we would fit their business model

In that case, make a dotabuff application for steam!

Staff should allow Plus time transfer. Allowing to take time off of your own account to gift it to another player.

Maybe like change current time into code. If that's easier for you.

We just added a bunch of options for gifting Plus, that will be it for a while. I'd much rather we spend our time building new features for everyone.

If you could have a single Dotabuff feature on your phone, would would it be?

Just a selling point, if you brought it up to them, and it was on their tabbed item screen when waiting to queue for a game, discounted a bit + they got a cut of it (like they do with items made by the community) I don't see why it would be a hard selling point + it would give them money for just advertising since you guys had done all the work already.

Maybe a better selling point if you guys ever do that is have the dotabuff community create items that would come with the subscription. A courier/ward or a single item idk. Gotta strike while the iron is still hot idk. I sell/fix medical equipment for G.E. medical division to hospitals and every time I go to a site for a repair I try and sell people stuff they don't need all the time so I'm always thinking of a way to get cash outta someone ;) Dinner? On the corporate card Doctor! Strippers? On the corporate card Doctor!

Oh just saw this phone thing. Umm I would want it to be easier to read on my phone for sure. I don't log into steam from my phone since it's a work phone and I retired my old phone so....

1. Easier to read.

2. Forums for general bullcrap and actual BUILDS to be in separate sections. Would be nice to have my phone to use for general builds built by the community, BUT that means you guys would actually have to do a ton of work to separate everything existing and a lot of other stuff (kinda like dota fire but they don't have an app)

3. Maybe have a voice activation for the heros section I would say "ancient apparition" and then his page would load so I would know what heros hes weak against and what hes strong against instead of the big wall of characters and trying to find one.

4. Drag and drop pre-build items for character builds in your page if you're logged in. Then you could drag/drop items for and put descriptions of it so it's handy on your phone. Same basic concept as 2 I suppose.

IDK character builds is a must. Screen sizing is a must on an app for this stuff. I have to slide my thumbs to shrink/increase the size. Possibly to have some of this stuff fit on the phone have more tabs for peoples pages so it all fits like general stats on first page, have a second tab that says top heros played win% then "recent games played" tab and so on. Its a little too busy for the phone.

IDK how you would size up the forum page though I have a samsung galaxy S5 and even on that big screen with 20/20 vision I have to zoom in, scroll back and forth and so on. Maybe take some code from huffingtonpost.com app and see how they do it so I can read the forum/blog here.

For a phone app, i jsut want to beable to see my account, and my friends, because my phone has slow internet, but works apps just fine, so when my friends texts me bragging about a match i look at it even when i am away from my computer.
