When the owners of this website go on a holiday they don't freeze this service and they still have to pay to host it...
The costs increase drastically due to usage of truesight which is used by DB+ users only "Plus members enjoy exclusive access to new features that are too difficult or expensive to operate for everyone." (who dont use them when they are away) thats why DB is free and you pay for the extra features. I dont mind paying for them but if I pay for something I would like to use the full time of it instead of half.
You're the one who need to plan yourself in my opinion... It's like paying for a gym then traveling for 3 weeks and saying "rofl can I pay just 1 week xd"
I think it's a nice idea (we don't want to charge you for something you aren't using). Honestly though, we probably won't add this any time soon. It would only be used by a very small number of people and is more complicated than you might think given the details of working with various payment processors, preventing abuse, etc.
We have a lot of great improvements and new features in the pipeline. I think everyone is better served by us working on those than tweaking billing code to save the occasional $3.
^^This is actually where I got the idea from :D, I did the same at my gym bought a years membership card used up 11 months and froze it for the 1 month I went away so I have 1 month left on it when I come back from holidays

Fair enough. Though we are only talking in fractions because if I would have gotten a 1 year subscription I would have lost 1 month instead of 2 weeks (which is the reason I didnt get the 1year subsription in the first place)

I have a suggestion:
Is it possible to implement some sort of freezing option for DB+? Ofcourse I dont mean to freeze the account for every time you are not playing (for example set some sort ofrequirement min freeze for 1 week) but possibly for people who are going on holidays so to not lose money. I think I overpayed for 2 weeks DB+ during which I didnt play a single game which I much rather have when I come back from my holidays.
Your personal expiriences/opinions would also we appreciated
