If you're an invis hero you're looking for detection. Like if they have 1 sentry in their inventory they either have given the other to a teammate or placed it.
Also just looking for high impact items like Mek, Blink, Butterfly, etc. so you're ready beforehand and not surprised.
wards, so that when you see them walk over to a random spot then turn around and go right back to where they started you know where they placed the ward.
smoke, so you can say hay mid your getting smoke ganked when you see who ever is holding the smoke leave the lane.
TPs or lack there of, so you know if someone will/wont be able to show up for a team fight/to defend a tower (and who to rupture).
looking for blade mail, BKB, blink, shadow blade, linken's, or what ever might save you from a foolish death, or stop you from wasting a long cool down ult.
