Because of the MMR skew.
Ideally the MMR between both teams are even or close to even, leading to a +/- of 24/25 MMR. In your case there probably weren't enough people queueing(?) so MM launched you into a game with skewed MMR.
you can just count the damn mmr points on screen at the end lol
a differential of 800 points will even give you +5 for losing (only happens when five stack vs five stack and the second best is far inferior to the best).

I never get the random numbering. We dominated that game, but why +18? if i lose its always -25, but if I win i rarely ever get the +25 usually 24.
