Meepo can go every lane but off.
Honestly, he isn't a good mid. If you win at mid with him, its because the enemy sucks ass not because the hero is actually a decent mid. Safelane is the best and with a semi-competent support you can snowball out of control with that 4 second net.
meepo is excellent mid, even a crow bottler cann't zone you out, after level 3, get some chunk of xp, stack a bit while still taking xp, and then, proceed to move in the map while having more xp than opponent middle, and while having the same gold as opponent middle, even without touching a quarter of lane creep, thx to the stack you made with the second meepo.
Meepo is really a great middle, but he isn't great in denying enemy, like a qop or a level 6+ storm could do, he is great in the fact that he cann't be denyed that easily, and will have great use of this solo lane xp.
A bit like naga with crow bottle actually, but without the crow bottle

I love playing this hero since dota 1. However stop aggressively picking him for quite a while. Although I noticed that since his new lvl ultimate buff him, I've never really consider playing him until today. So before I start spamming him in unranked games and hopefully into rank games, my question to meepo players out there above 4k is where do you think meepo fits in the current meta. Support, mid or safe farm or even offlane?
