I'm currently having the best ISP/Connection is Switzerland and its far from being near that.
I'm currently using a 250'000 download / 15'000 upload connection. soon to be doubled but still far away from Google Fiber, especially the upload.

It dipend on internet provider, here in france you can get it in paris for something between 40-60 euro (50-70 dollars ?) if i'm not mistaken.

but on the otherhand, in most other location of france, for the same price you have 16mb upload and < 1 mb upload

About ~30$/month depending on provider and city in western Russia. In eastern part of Russia speed is much lower and prices are higher.

I think at my last house my 150MB virgin media connection was like £35 which is like..... $60 I think. Currently my 96MB connection is with BT who are wank and it costs like £40 cause I have to have a god damn phone as well with it.

Google fiber is 70$ a month for a Gibabit of up/down. Or you can pay a 300$ installation free and get 30/10 for free for life.

The TV plan comes with a free nexus 7 tablet. (To make adjustments for 1080HD TV, or internet speed).

Holy shit people, you pay a lot for your net. The prices in Moscow drop all the time. I used to pay 30$ for a 50/50 mbit connection a few years ago. Now I get the same speed for like 12$ a month.

Speed don't matter as much as Ping does. If it is stable you get used to it. If it jumps around, you are screwed and fail the game.
I get 30ms on Speedtest but 80ms in Dota minimum in Europe West (closest region).
