EDIT: Yeah my mother has Crohn's disease :( Its genetic so.... yeah I gotta be careful. I'm 31 so there it is. I can't remember if chrons disease is the same as ulcerative colitis. I think its similar i cant remember.

Theres a pizza place across the street here I used to go to for lunch all the time and it was a new york slice, a salad with 3 toppings, and a fountain drink for $6.54. I had taco bell. The new shredded chicken xxl taco is really good, tastes like a real taco you might get at a mexican restaurant, not just some hamburger in a shell.
Chrone's is not the same as colitis. Chrone's is like genetic condition, colitis is more like a disease you can get if your bowel is irritated. Colitis is basically like a really bad sensitivity in your bowel that flares up like arthritis might in your joints. It can be managed and for some people is no big deal, there's varying degrees. I think you usually get it because of a crap diet and bad luck like a seed gets stuck in your bowel and festers. There's not much you can do except go to the doctor right away if you have stomach pain/irritation and stay away from nuts like whole peanuts.

But asparagus and salmon are really freakin good! That's probably what I'm making for dinner! How do you prep it? Really easy salmon, rub it with a little olive oil, sprinkle with garlic salt, coarse black pepper, dried thyme and oregano, bake at 450 for 8-12 minutes depending on thickness of the filet. Last minute I pull it out squirt a little lemon juice and honey on top and throw it back in. If you put the lemon juice and honey on for the whole thing it just melts off and burns in the pan I find.
Asparagus is best sauteed with some garlic or roasted in the oven imo. Steamed it kinda sucks.

That looks good dude. Acai is real expensive here so I rarely buy it from the store. I've been buying nothing but non-processed food for 2 months (OK LIE..... I had hot wings a week ago since I was miserable my car shot craps and had to put a big down payment on a new car so depression led me to hot wings. They were cajun hot wings... so good damn, and some cajun french fries.)
Either way the grocery store buying fresh is way more expensive than canned. I think my grocery bill doubled. Ship me some acai bro :(

That doesn't look like really unhealthy food. I mean its way better than a burger joint for sure and probably tastes 1 million times better. I mean its charcoal grilled instead of deep fat fried. If you cut out the rice and the refried beans you probably would be doing ok! Probably just the sodium content on it and if you do salsa it usually has a lot of sodium.

EDIT: I ate ramen noodles and cup of noodles for the majority of 4 years in college and mac and cheese. I think I could make a ramen noodle cookbook of all the extra stuff you can do to it. Anyone ever been in such a hurry they just eat the noodles without cooking them and throw out the flavor packet? I had 22 credit hours one term, and two part time jobs and had to eat em in my car like that.... being broke and driving between college and my two jobs. So glad that part of my life is over holy crap. 2 hours a day for sleep again? NTY :O

Not sure what sort of diet you have been on, but I have been on keto for the last year. That meal is my cheat meal without being a cheat meal (I skip the rice and beans and just pig out on half a chicken in one sitting). Very high calorie for me, but still low carb.

Very tough to not get a rager while exercising with my wife watching this chick lol!! I am supposed to exercise like 7 days a week but I do just 4 days at 30 min a day. The off days I just walk with my kids since its warmer out now.
We have to portion out our food. I can't do salt/sugar bread, dairy except cottage cheese.
So I can have 4 fruits a day, 6 veggies, 2 proteins and a little red container of hot sauce (they provide measuring containers idk what the exact volume it is) and a shake. I don't do the shakes and just eat a banana instead for an extra fruit. The box of shake mixes are like $200 a month, so I just let my wife use them to save a bit of cash.
Looked up the ketogenic diet, looks pretty similar but you can have 50g of carbs a day on yours. I think My Dr. had me look this up years ago to see if it would help me with my epilepsy instead of taking medication to go on a ketogenic diet. Didn't work but it was worth a shot. I should take a look at this again thx!
there is something so satisfying about having a plan all laid out for you like that. Also that lady is very nice to look at. She would definitely ruin my focus (or intensify it?).
Keto is intensely hard for the first 3 weeks, and then hard for the first 3 months. After that it's not too bad. I started out <20g carbs for the first 8 months, now I occasionally go up to 50g. I still dream of carbs randomly.
The worst is that every thing around you in life is trying to get you fat. Like anyone else eating anything. Anything on TV/the internet food related. Anytime you leave your house you're bombarded with garbage food. Good luck on your diet!
Pizza with pineapple and jalapeno with a rakija ( it is native drink, if you never tried, you miss a lot ). That combination rocks, trust me. Even if it sound wierd.

Well I'm 6'2 and was 235lbs, now i'm still 6'2 (joke haha? :) and weigh 210 lbs. When I had the hot wings over the weekend I blew up to 215 though somehow. (OHHH YEAH I had firehouse subs also that day when I was buying my new car and depressed about making car payments) IDK how both of those equated to 5 lbs but its back down to 210 lbs now. So that was about 7 days ago.
Its freaky how fast you gain weight! :O
FYI rule of thumb in the grocery store do the "Horseshoe" only area for food, like the outer rim and not the inside isles. Inside isles has food that have a lot of preservatives and carbs in there which is bad. (I think you may be from somewhere other than USA so IDK how your grocery stores are typically set up!)
Hint from the country thing: Rakija, I had to look it up. Sounds good and looks tasty!

If you're doing something of a low carb diet it could be water bloat. If I have a high carb cheat day I gain tons. for Valentines I did a cheat day and gained 8 lbs in a day. 3 days later on low carb it was almost all gone.
Huh, i haven't knew about that grocery things. I knew that, they use some colors and music to make people buy more, but that, was nice reading.
I don't know that numbers, but i am like 2.06 and around 100 kg but i have to really lose weight (summer is comming, i have to rock my body , sigh :-P ).
I have tried a lot of diets and non of them worked ( atleast for me ). Seems that i will have to go back to old and hard workout, to do anything.

Ah that makes sense. Thx I was wondering what was going on. Been since I was in college and a bit after since I was on strict dieting. After being married for 7 years I forgot a lot of stuff because who needs to work out when you put a ring on it? J/K but that was my thoughts for a long time.
