nope. the beast just runs away and you get the same rewards depending on the rank. i reached 25m until the time ran out and still got 1.4k tokens with nothing added.
I found out last night the more gold ingots you spend, the higher the jade tokens you will get.
I tried with a few people from here last night and first did 1k gold ingots and got over 10 MIL dmg and received 1100 jade tokens.
Someone mentioned the more gold ingots you spend, the bigger pile of jade tokens you get. So we tried the 2500 gold ingots and got 3500 jade tokens for 11mil damage. We died and still got the reward for the damage, and same rank "S".
No better reward for living, its dependent on how much dmg you do in 5 MIL increments it looks like.
Makes me regret not trying it out with URSA/WK combo before fury stacks and vampiric aura was removed.

So we all died on the last bullet hell with 9 seconds to go. I shoulda bought back but thought our warlock would survive in euls, he was 2 seconds too early on this cyclone so died coming back down. Just wondering if there's a bonus for surviving the beast.
