Well i cant talk either, lost 2 out of 3 games with him in ranked.
yes, don't forget that popularity is based within the entire month for all games played, so while you may not have encountered him much, 1000 heroes really isn't much of a large sample size to choose from considering the huge number of games played monthly
OD doesnt fit the current meta anymore, its so gank and offense oriented that od is a prime target before he can even start turning into the stompy ass king of int heroes that he used to be right from the start.
to put simply, od not so op anymore.
Heres the thing, OD is only strong if you have a team which backs you up. He is so ez to gank and needs somewhat farm to be effective. He is one of those heroes who are meant for cpt. mode and not pub games.
^Well in the 3k to 4k games is really easy to stomp as OD, maybe at 5k is imposible i dont know ......

dunno really i got some in my friendslist who have 3-3,5k and don't really seem to stomp at all with OD. Maybe its bcause they suck to much but idk.

Well, it's not a secret that OD is my favourite hero. I got flamed very often to pick this "OP" hero.
But I'm really disappointed and a little angry now: After playing 100 games of Phoenix, OD got picked a total amount of 2 times (out of 900 heroes in total). Dotabuff gives his popularity a 6.55%. Judging from my games, he would have a popularity of 0.2% (!!).
I think the dotabuff popularity is not calculated correctly? It seems like maybe modes like All Random are counted in it?
Or is it just my skillbracket (4,7k)?
