I don't know what's the big deal, if you're a good es player it will still work for you, no matter if they changed something.
It's still working for some of my friends.

only the ridiculous level 3 insta gibs everyone on the map combo is over, he wents from the most overpowered hero since at least 6.48b (wasn't playing before that) to a strong hero (in good hand, like actually voker is now)

I dont know sam a 1500 damage nuke at lvl 6 seems pretty fair for me.

I wish I could see a truly good and dangerous ES someday, most of the players I see are just lost trying to use the statues ;_;

ok- just played ES for first time since nerf and must say he doesnt feel that nerfed tbh. dagger now should be rushed imo cause it allows crazy initiations and solo kill potential. u can still kill almost anyone when u hit 6, hero is almost the same honestly

but isn't the same thing to kill a trilane when u reach lvl 6
