If they just lower the cooldown on his stone remnants to 25 seconds again, he'd be okay.

lowering the cd would be a better nerf than what we have now.
Hes fine where he is now. He can still sustain a silence on 5 people for 5 seconds while applying 2000 dot to all of them and move heroes in and out of position at his own will as well as roll around on a 5 second cooldown. The only difference is that his stun is a skill shot and his cd is longer.
The problem is that late game, you won't have enough stone remnants to do the potential 2000 damage. If you're saving all your remnants for that, you're not stunning or silencing the enemies and therefore useless.
funny how every 6k players in my fl just droped 500rating after es nerf ;DD now there is only slark left to abuse ;)
The problem I see here is that his skills now does not interact with each other..
what do you do after you use his geomagnet grip ? you cant roll boulder or stun because opponent can escape it easily
puck silence is much better because puck will be in range to do some dmg or ult.
even if you hit your stun with q you still need to summon another rock to get close and you are already wasting 2 stones for a simple gap close to ulti.
most heroes like puck, phoenix, storm and old earth spirit etc can combo their skills effectively..right not earth spirit cant even do anything but follow up.
kunkka torrent is a skill shot but honestly landing torrent is much easier than landing earth spirit q at the moment.
I think they should add a feature to only hit a Stone Remnant when you target your Q on an area that has a Stone Remnant and a thousand other little shits that happen to phase through the fucking Stone Remnants so it's nearly impossible to hit it. As in some alternative key or key combination that would only apply to remnants instead of creeps and heroes too.
The hero is EXTREMELY rewarding. Saving allies from a 1000 range, stunning and silencing 5 people, 2000 DoT to 5 people, escape, initiate and gank. All of them while being a naturally tanky hero. A hero like this should be VERY hard to play or it would be nowhere near balanced. Imo he could be even harder than Invo and that would make sense.
Give him more Nerfs, shits broken man.
you could litterally take all the damage from his skills except his ulti, and he'd still be broken.
I'd say, a good nerf to him, would be he can't use his pull/kick on enemy heros or allies, just make him have his stones and be done with it.

He went from great tier to trash tier. He is one of my favorite hero, but does he really deserve this nerf?
lets talk about his skills now.
Boulder Smash : this skill now can stun your enemy for 2.25 second at max level and deal 125 damage..
now the problem with this is that you can't combo this skill with anything and it is a skill shot and very situational..old ES use this as a finisher, some of you may say " oh great now it takes skill to play ES " ... ya well you see the problem with that is this skill only deal 2.25 sec stun and 125 damage. The benefit is just too small and very risky to be a skill shot. I believe this skill needs to be buffed, like at least let it stun the opponent when i kick them.
Rolling boulder : fine as it is
Geomagnetic grip : the OLD es combo was e - w - ult - q
now that geomagnetic doesn't stun your target..it would be ridiculous to start your combo with E because after they get silenced they can just turn right or left dodging your rolling boulder. and you can't do anything about it. An additional slow would be nice to have here so i can still use W after E
the best combo i can think of now would be W - drop rock - q the rock - drop rock - E - ult
and even this combo is almost impossible to land if your opponent have brain..
this hero went from a hero that can snowball carry into a team fight support like enigma..because all of your skill become a follow- up and earth spirit now is just a walking ultimate. I doubt he will get picked often now since elder titan, magnus and even tide are much better picks.
tldr; I think this nerf hit him pretty badly because it change his gameplay, role and playstyle
what do you guys think about Earth spirit change ? have any of you tried him ?
