You know that if you don't stack your chances of getting a leaver/brazilian/russian is fairly high but match you shouldn't be 2% lower than the 50 mark. i say 48% is scrub tier, no chance to bounce backup.

3. Most faggots with 55+ are either smurfs or lpq abusers
who gives a shit. Seriously. Ive been soloing day one, lost ashit ton in the begninig starting to wina ton now, but win rate shows nothing. Solo is like playing russian roulette, sometimes theres nothing you can do.

Both these accounts belong to a friend of mine. He solo queued most of the time on his first account, then switched to a smurf to pump his win rate by stacking. If you go through the first account, you'll see that despite his shitty win rate, he regularly gets matched against pro players in SEA, which means that he's a 4k+ MMR player at least.

This is my main and smurf account. Again, the win rate on my main account is shit because I solo queue a whole lot more than I do on my smurf (I regularly dip below 50% then bounce back up). I'm sitting on a rather poor 4075 solo and a 3065 stack MMR on the main account despite being matched against SEA pro players from time to time.
What you should take away from this is:
1. MMR is dependent on the start you had with your account. If you YOLO-ed the first half of your games away, you'll face an uphill task trying to work your way back to a respectable MMR.
2. Win rate is not a good indicator of player skill, especially when the main gripe about matchmaking is being teamed with lower-skilled players and being expected to carry them to victory; one can only do so much.
Every time I read a post by blunt, I have the same 2 second thought process of wondering what went so wrong in his life to make him this angry, followed by thinking he is probably just trying to imitate other players with skills that troll forums. Every, single, time.

tbh, i kind of agree with people with below 50% wr are usually bad (In my experience). But this isn't always the case i've seen some people with below 50% be extremely good, but it's VERY rare.

I agree. But you fet in the trashcan stats too. I mean barely 900 games and your only .17% above 50%. I was 52% all the way up to 1000 games. Trust me there's nothing worst than hitting 2500+ games and volvo matching you with 48% people and under 300 games people.
He's about 3 losses away from under 50%. Let's just wait until that day occurs so we can all SS it and save it as our computer background.

Win rate means nothing. If I win 10 out of 10 games against 5 year olds but my mate wins 1 game out of 10 against pros, who is the better player? 100% guy or 10% guy?
KDA can mean stuff but that all depends on how you play. My KDA's are terrible. I tell myself it's because I don't pussy out at the end of a match that's lost, hiding in fountain to avoid another death. Basically, stats can mean a lot but they can also mean absolutely nothing.

As a player that has consistently had a positive win rate, nearly reaching 52%, I can safely say with a straight face that you are a fucking idiot that can't take any responsibility for the mistakes you make, are incapable of reasonably assessing someone's skill because you are so blinded by your perception of your own skill, and couldn't lead an equally skilled team vs worthy opponents if your life depended on it. I have friends roughly my skill level with sub 50% win rates, friends FAR better than me with worse win rates, and people worse than me with better. Win rate is only the outcome of who you have played against, not your skill.
tldr: Get the fuck off these boards and stop shitting up this wonderful game. You don't deserve to play it.
As I person who only solo qued, I used to have a 48ish WR but brought it up to 51 just by playing the game

I got into Dota 2 on my own with no moba experience and no help from anyone except purges guide. I solo queued exclusively for like 600 games until recently when I finally got friend playing. If you ignore my horrific lifestealer stats (played him a lot when I was new) I don't think I am doing too bad. My winrate is slowly getting 50%. MMR is about 3.1k atm I think.

If you have below a winrate of below 49%, something like 48, 47, etc. after like 600 games. You are a trashcan, even if you usually solo match making. I've just noticed that all the retards that drag the team down in ranked matches are those types. The 49-49.99% win rate people are fine though just the usual roller coaster. I mean when you hit below 50% doesn't the system pair you up with better players? When i hit anything below 50% i find that any matches i have are piss easy to win and bounce back up.
